Yep, the magic ingredient here is peanut sauce. If you’re using some bland, flavorless version, that’s a choice. Personally, I go for the spicy kind because spice equals life. Ingredients You Definitely Have:

  • 2 bone-in pork chops

  • EVOO (extra virgin olive oil, for those who aren’t fluent in Food Network)

How to Make It:

  1. First, season those chops like you mean it—garlic salt, garlic powder, pepper, and paprika. Don’t skimp on this part.

  2. Heat some EVOO and butter in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. If you don’t have a cast iron skillet, I’m not saying this won’t work in a regular pan, but like, why would you do that to yourself?

  3. Sear the chops for 2-3 minutes on each side. We’re looking for golden brown, not burnt to a crisp.

  4. Now, turn the heat down to medium, slather one side of the pork chops with peanut sauce, flip, and repeat. Let them cook for another 2-3 minutes on each side. We want saucy, not sticky.

  5. Finally, broil those chops on high for about 4 minutes. Watch the sauce bubble up and the edges get all crispy and perfect. Don’t walk away, this isn’t the time to check Instagram.

  6. Plate the chops, and here’s where you go wild: spoon on some extra peanut sauce because we’re not here to count calories. You can serve the extra on the side too, if you’re into that sort of thing.
